​2018 - WELCOME BACK GENTS!

​Well, 2018 tour was completed and Cardiff was a roaring success, fantastic venue, great courses and lots of good crack!!!

​

Some more minor changes have been made to the C.E.G.S website since the last issue, have a browse and see what you can spot!!

News on next years Tour:

Ed has done a sterling job and so CEGS 2019  in Portugal is now a reality. Most of the guys have booked flights and so on Tuesday 21st May 2019 (for most of us) the tour commences.

​

 

Please note that we now have two History pages (01 & 02), this is due to a limitation on the amount of content per page. As before, if anyone has anything of interest that they  would like uploaded please send to me and I'll do what I can.

 

Check out the new Reviews button, not all years are covered yet but most bring back fond memories and a few chuckles!! - roll over the  reviews button and select your year from the drop-down menu.

 

In due course there will be a number of links to other websites; I'm currently working on them prior to activating, some examples are:

Some of the names of courses we've played will be linked to the actual course site so you can click on the link and review/remember the course.

 

The Laws of Golf have been added, along with a Links page that will eventually take you to the main Golfing sites (Rules, R&A, PGA) etc. The Bulletin Board will have occasional updates as next years tour develops, the FAQ's will be updated as I receive FAQ's!!.

 

Only rule I'm enforcing is that any text / pictures shouldn't be too contentious as wives / girlfriends etc may want to see the site and so we don't want to offer any offence (or drop anyone it it!!).

The intention is still a fairly a simple,informative yet amusing collection of bits and bobs  that we have collected over the years so feel free to contribute.

I can still add new pages so any thoughts on other topics links etc are welcome.
